Blood For Blood: Pangayaw: The Right To Kill
Pio Gabad Arce
When mutilated bodies of Manobo tribesmen begin floating down the Davao River, the tribal leaders know that their worst fears have been realized…
Someone has declared a pangayaw against them.
Thus begins the hunt for Buaya, a Manobo chieftain carrying out a pangayaw--the culturally-sanctioned blood vendetta. Buaya, obsessed with killing the clan chief who massacred his kin, is murdering everyone in his path, shattering the fragile peace in the region. As the military and the leftist rebels get involved, two men are drawn into the fray—one seeks to capture Buaya, and the other to help him. In the escalating jungle conflict where the line between justice and vengeance is blurred, one man will pay the ultimate price to bring peace to a weary land.

a novel which must be known by the majority |
|
| |
After reading the novel, "Blood For Blood," i was amazed and touched by the story. It came out from my mind that this novel must be shown on the television or else it should be converted into a movie. The story is absolutely nice and at the same time, you can gain a moral lesson from it.

a fascinating read ... |
|
| |
As an American-born reader, and one that has never been to the mountains of Gumitam, I was fascinated by this culture so worlds apart from my own. With this book, one comes frightfully face to face with the suffering, brutality, and demonic strongholds that are a day to day reality for these people, a reality that God can change.

A must read book for those who want to see world peace... |
|
| |
" Pio Arce has written a remarkable book about true forgiveness and reconciliation. We could have banished all atrocities that is happening around the world and our war against global terrorism should have been solved if all peoples of the world would embrace the universal principles behind this book."
