She is an author of young adult fiction and the first YA author in the Philippines to be published by Penguin Random House USA. Her debut YA novel Chloe and the Kaishao Boys was named a 2023 New York Public Library Best Book of the Year. Her other works include the YA novella The Year We Became Invincible released with Anvil Publishing.

Her latest novel is Goodbye and Everything After, a coming-of-age story about grief, first love, and family expectations.
