Emotions! We all experience different emotions at different times. They play a pivotal role in shaping an individual. Just like adults, children too experience emotions. They get frustrated, excited, curious, lonely, nervous, scared, sad, jealous, frightened, worried, angry, ashamed, etc. However, unlike adults, young kids usually don't have the vocabulary to talk about their feelings. Instead they communicate their feelings by actions, like crying, sulking, shouting, etc. The way these emotions are dealt with plays an important role in developing a child’s personality and key strengths. Let us meet our central character, Jelly, a cute elephant kid, who lives in a jungle with his mother. He experiences various emotions and as the stories progress, he finds a way to deal with them. The idea behind this set of 6 books is to enable little minds cope up with their emotions while relating them with the emotions that Jelly goes through. Fun activities at the end of the stories make these storybooks more interesting and useful. These books can be used as a part of school curriculum, group reading activity, or for reading at home. We hope your children enjoy reading these stories.
