With the limited learning resources available to my students, I decided to prepare a handy reference material so they could use in their study of customs laws. After six editions of my previous work, Notes and Cases in Customs Laws, I went back to my notes and decided to come up with an updated material. Thus, this work came into reality.

In this work, I included a Table of Relevant Laws and Issuances vis-à-vis the CMTA provisions; a Summary of Powers of the President, Secretary of Finance, Commissioner of Customs and District Collector of Customs; a Table of Qualification Standards of selected positions in the Bureau of Customs; a Structure of the Bureau (Central Office); and an organizational chart of a District Port (Port of Cebu).
