Tricia Pestaño-Quick grew up in Manila where afternoons were filled with play, trips to local shops and, of course, merienda. These early memories inspired her debut picture book, Merienda in Manila. She comes from a world of engineering and aviation, but it's art and picture books that bring her the most joy. Tricia now lives in Australia with her little family and two curious cats! From her cozy hometown in Rizal, Kim Alexis Santiago now brings stories to life for Filipino children all over the world. Kim's artistic adventure began with drawings inspired by her favorite noontime cartoons and anime. Over the years, she's developed a playful art style full of vibrant colors and interesting textures. She believes that art has the power to make the world a kinder, brighter, and more imaginative place.
