The My Penmanship series aims to teach the fundamentals of writing by explaining to teachers the rudiments of teaching writing, and by directing students to what they need to learn in their level. This workbook integrates major and minor learning areas like English, Science, Mathematics, Filipino, Technology, Araling Panlipunan (Social Studies), Music, Arts, and Physical Education into the development of the students’ rich and sound vocabulary, which is essential in writing.

The series features activities that highlight proper motor development through tracing and coloring; exercises that intensify rudiments of basic handwriting such as lines and curves; and tasks that enforce application of vocabulary learned in a step-by-step manner toward creating phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs, and finally, essays.
